E13A-G Series – Gang Mounted 3/2 Solenoid Valve

Product Overview

The E13A-G Series is a direct-acting, spring-return 3 port, 2 position solenoid valve featuring a gang-mounted configuration with a single air inlet design.

Available in both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) versions, the valve allows multiple pneumatic functions to be controlled from a compact manifold-style assembly whilst maintaining reliable direct-acting performance.

Manufacturer: ROSS Pneumatrol
Product Series: E13A-G
Valve Type: Direct Acting Solenoid Valve
Valve Function: 3/2
Mounting Style: Gang Mounted
Operation: Normally Open or Normally Closed
Actuation: Single Solenoid

Key Features

  • Direct-acting valve operation
  • Gang-mounted installation format
  • 3/2 valve functionality
  • Available in normally open and normally closed versions
  • Single solenoid spring-return operation
  • Operates without pilot pressure
  • Compact multi-valve installation
  • Compatible with safe area and hazardous area solenoid operators
  • Available in aluminium, brass and stainless steel body materials

Applications

The E13A-G Series is suitable for:

  • Pneumatic automation systems
  • OEM machinery
  • Multi-channel pneumatic control applications
  • Packaging machinery
  • Industrial automation equipment
  • Process control systems
  • Rail applications
  • General compressed air installations

Product Benefits

The gang-mounted design enables multiple valves to be grouped together within a compact assembly, reducing installation space requirements and simplifying pneumatic connections.

Because the valve uses a direct-acting operating principle, it does not require pilot pressure, making it suitable for low-pressure applications and systems where immediate, reliable switching is required.

The ability to select either normally open or normally closed operation provides flexibility when designing fail-safe pneumatic control systems.

Available Options

The E13A-G Series can be configured with:

  • Normally open operation
  • Normally closed operation
  • Aluminium body construction
  • Brass body construction
  • Stainless steel body construction
  • Safe area solenoid coils
  • Hazardous area approved solenoid operators
  • Multiple AC and DC voltage options
  • Various electrical connection styles

Industries Served

  • Industrial Manufacturing
  • Process Industry
  • Oil & Gas
  • Chemical Processing
  • Rail Infrastructure
  • Energy & Utilities
  • Automation & Control Systems
  • OEM Equipment Manufacturing

Important Notes

  • Direct-acting valves do not require pilot pressure for operation.
  • Valve operation should be selected according to application and fail-safe requirements.
  • Gang-mounted configurations help simplify installation and maintenance.
  • Hazardous area approvals depend on the selected solenoid operator configuration.
  • Electrical and pneumatic specifications should be reviewed before installation.
